Course Description

The BLS HCP Skills test is intended for those who have completed the BLS HCP on-line course. It is important to bring your proof of the on-line completion on the day of you skills test. BLS Health Care Provider Instructor Course

Course Description

The instructor certification course is designed to instruct the methods needed to effectively teach other students. BLS is all 2-day course with a third day to be individually scheduled for being monitored while teaching a class. Only students who have already completed the BLS Instructor Course may take the First Aid Instructor course. Heartsaver Instructor Course includes: CPR and AED course, Heartsaver in Schools and Family and Friends Course. Candidates must submit in advance a completed Instructor Candidate form, resume, letter of recommendation and copy of provider card. In order to take any of the instructor classes, you must already have a current AHA BLS Health Care Provider card. Instructor renewal courses may be taken by Instructors that hold a current instructor card. All candidates must be satisfactorily monitored to pass the course and receive card.
